HEaT’s Mission Statement: The goal of HEaT is to provide enrichment for homeschool students through unique educational experiences and meaningful social interactions that often cannot be recreated at home. We desire to foster a community of support for homeschool families founded in Christ.

HEaT’s Origin

HEaT began in 2015 based on an idea two homeschool moms had for their families. They were looking for a program that provided their children with educational activities that could be hard to re-create at home, as well as a small break for themselves, in which they were still their children’s primary educator. Based on their idea, Homeschool Enrichment and Teaching was born.

HEaT is a board led, not-for-profit program. We meet for a fall and spring semester each calendar year and also host community events and field trips. Classes are held on Thursday mornings from 9-1 PM at The Crossing Church.

Preschool

The goal of Pre-HEaT is to enrich the lives of young children by providing opportunities for them to learn, create, and move while forming friendships with other children. To meet this goal, Pre-HEaT offers a weekly drop-off preschool program for children ages 3 through Pre-K (final year of preschool before K). Each class has 12-16 students, one lead teacher, and one teacher's aide.
