HEaT’s Origin
HEaT began in 2015 based on an idea two homeschool moms had for their families. They were looking for a program that provided their children with educational activities that could be hard to re-create at home, as well as a small break for themselves, in which they were still their children’s primary educator. Based on their idea, Homeschool Enrichment and Teaching was born.
HEaT is a board led, not-for-profit program. We meet for a fall and spring semester each calendar year and also host community events and field trips. Classes are held on Thursday mornings from 9-1 PM at The Crossing Church.
Enrollment
At HEaT, we do our best to include every possible student. Enrollment is prioritized for current families first, then waiting list families, and lastly open to the public. HEaT currently has a waiting list for most programs. If you would like to learn more about how to join our waiting list, please contact us! All waiting list families are invited to our community events and field trips. We strive for a family to be on the waiting list no longer than one school year.
